This is a Tony wank-fest. Between them, Tony and Gibbs were the most toxic members of the team. Tony as a sexist bully with no sense of boundaries and Gibbs as another bully who turned a blind eye.

Second reading and still love this story.

I really enjoy reading this- it's well written and grammatically it is well done (so very nice! No matter how creative and well thought out a plot line is, I cannot read a story that is horrible in the grammar division!). The only problem I really have (and I can ignore it, or change it in my mind) is that Tony had the pneumonic plague- which affects the lungs and respitory system,not the bubonic. He didn't have the black sores indicative of the bubonic.
Anyway, great job!

so, while i agree he should let them know that some FBI and NCIS teams are coming, it wouldn't exactly be anything new. the FBI training academy is at Quantico, so a few more agents isn't really going to make a difference to them.

also, something that only really just now occurred to me, but i don't think you realize exactly how rare a rank Sergeant Major is when you made Andrew one. it's the highest possible ranks for an enlisted soldier, and quick google search tells me that there are currently 420 of them in the USMC. out of over 200,000 people in the USMC (which is the smallest branch of the united states military).

i hope you do have tony sue the assholes.

seems pretty obvious to me at this point that Tony is going to be replacing Stewart and Andrew will take over Tony's team.

So, you pick a character that was in one episode named Balboa, make him tony's best friend, and i haven't seen one Rocky/Stallone joke. tony would be disappointed.

Also, no federal agent at Gibbs's level would actually get away with that shit. there'd be lawsuits and he'd probably be fired at some point. granted, the show isn't all that realistic either, given that half the team would go to prison for some of the shit they've pulled.

while i liked Analyze This and Analyze That, honestly, the first movies that pop into my head when someone mentions Billy Crystal are the Cityslickers movies.

and if tony thinks gibbs is such an asshole, why hasn't he transferred to another team?

and why exactly, would she be surprised at how he pronounced the words? you realize that DiNozzo is italian, right? it's fairly obvious from the name alone, though that might be my bias showing, i'm of Sicilian descent, myself (among other things).

...there was definitely some sexual tension between DiNozzo and Kate, dude. honestly, i generally like Michael Weatherly (though i had absolutely no interest in the show he left NCIS for), but reading about the incidents with Eliza Dushku kind of soured me on him a little.

then again, i can say the same thing about Mark Harmon after the details emerged as to why Pauley Perette left.

Oh that was kind of abrupt ending. I would like to see the wedding and his friends glad to be rid of Gibbs or something like that.
Anyway was fun til it last.
