This is... Wow. I love this to bits, honestly. Using Leon as the narrarator works great. It made me grin so much and be sad at the same time, if that makes sense? One of my favorite Merlin oneshots I've read.

Please don't leave it here. I can see so many ways this could go with the sigil. Arthur ambushed and missing, Merlin left...with the sigil as seen by the knights. A peasant temporarily holding the fort as it were while knights search for Arthur? Where does he sleep, what does he do? Will he ask Audrey (cook) to make honey buns for tea? Will Gaius keep him in line until the King is found? Please continue soon.
