The plot point at the end comes out of nowhere.

Suddenly, Juri's dad was making deals with Gang members, The New Yorker that was flirting with Rumiko was the same, the gang leader was the one who stole Renamon's Digivice, and now we're dealing with more new threats.

And I have no fucking clue as to what the bloody hell is going on. And I can see the problem.

1) There was no foreshadowing of who or what was the Digivice thief, or that the Digivice was stolen to began with until after Renamon was beaten up and her Core ripped out, as a start.

The second problem, was that the added Plot point of Strabimon partly comes out of nowhere, and then disappears just as quickly, with no side effects. The demand he made, doesn't even get told of being Fulfilled or anything of the sort. It just turns into a Red Herring.

Third, we never got to see much of Mr Katou to even care, or even get a clear cut idea of what he was like, and the Pervert had too little screen time to even be given a damn, aside from overhearing him flirting with Rumiko. The gang also is another problem, because we don't even get a reference of them appearing beforehand, or any references of digimon having problems with them, even though they're clearly aware of Digimon, as their boss had stolen Rika's Digivice.

And finally, the entire start of the story started out with the idea that "Digimon were Secret"... Then has Renamon Waltz right up, Threaten Impmon, then give the implication that they were NOT as Secret... Before it goes back to saying they are secret.

And That's the problem. The story is all over the place. Strabimon is just there to try and fleece Renamon. The Gang Plot point comes right out of nowhere, the Pervert is killed off, and then there's a "Secret reconnaissance network" watching the area beforehand. And I don't even know what the hell I'm supposed to feel about it all.

Woah, that cliffhanger!

Hmm, I'm a little confused at how this chapter ended, is "tonight is only just beginning for me" being spoken by Ryo, or by another character?

Just started reading this. There's a few typos in the prologue, but so far this is shaping up to be a really cool Tamers AU. Jeri being autistic is an interesting take as is pairing her with Impmon. Nightmare!Takato is freaky as hell and I'm wondering why Jeri would dream such a thing. Can't wait to see how this develops!

I haven't read Digimon fanfics in years, but I'm glad I started to read this one. More Jeri fanfics are always a good thing, and I look forward to seeing how this one plays out! I'm also intrigued that you portray Jeri as having autism; that was a fan theory for a while now, but I don't think I've seen it used in fanfics before. And of course as usual, Takato and Jeri act very cute together.

Stay away from the creepy voice. Creepy voices only cause bad things. Well at least Impmon gets to do stuff in this story instead of him being practically useless in the actual series. _
