I really like this fic! I am a sucker for any time traveling Obi-Wan stories. I hope that Anakin and Obi-Wan realize that they both had traveled back in time soon. These two can really be oblivious idiots sometimes... I mean, Obi-Wan has already changed a lot and Anakin is just in denial. I can't wait to see where this story goes. I hope that Anakin and Obi-Wan get their happy ending and actually kriffing communicate. I hope you add more soon!

I was thinking that Ahsoka may come back into the past. I know this is solely about Obi-Wan and Anakin, but Ahsoka is as much family to them as they are to each other.

Everyone is either idiotic or out of character in order for you to continue the plot. He's an old genocidal war criminal inhabiting the body of a nine year old. Obi-Wan should have been able to notice him the second he saw him, there's literally no possible way Darth Vader could be a convincing nine year old.

If you're going to drag out the story for some climactic confrontation which should have happened five chapters ago, then try at least make it make sense.

If you plan an entire story around one scene, it's probably not a good story.

Yes! Shmi's concerns are very valid. I'm not a parent myself, but I think every mother wants to be reassured of what her child is getting into.

I look forward to seeing what happens when everyone goes to the Council chambers. Will Vaderkin get insight into why Obi did things differently the first time? Will they both figure out that they are both from the future?

As for your question, I believe Shmi won’t trust Qui-Gon if he pulls the same stunt in the Council chambers. I suspect it will be Shmi that gives Anakin insight into why Obi May have said the things He did the first go around (I.e. that Anakin is dangerous).

I love this story so much. It's definitely one of my favorites. I really like how much you emphasize the extent to which Anakin and Obi-Wan care for one another. I sincerely hope that they soon realize they're both from the future.

I'm admittedly curious to see where the story is going. I've read a few stories where both Anakin and Obi-Wan end up in the bodies of their younger selves, but I've never any of them as much as this one. Please do finish it. xD I've seen so many promising stories which have remained incomplete, and it really annoys me sometimes. xD

I've seen several fics where Anakin at least considers the Corps, and I think it's a really good idea. He really is too old to lay down all attachments like a Jedi. And having Shmi work in the Temple is a great plan! She'd be really good with the kids!

im wondering if qui gon is still gonna die no offence to him and all but not my fav character and he doesn't really have a place in the timeline but it would be a interesting time for obi and ani to confront their mutual loss and come to recognize their situation in each other I think things will move faster now with the impending return to naboo but how will ani' destroying the control station fit in with shmi being present watching over her son? I think yoda might not be sent back in time but would still sense the "divergence" in the force around them both and know whats transpired with the time-travel perhaps talk to obi aside at some point to hear the truth from him probably drop obi some clues on ani being in the same position and I suppose learn about palpy (because yoda always knows EVERYTHING) lol and when obi / ani do come out in the open with each other well oviously there will be apologies made but also they will need to work out what will work for them now what to do about palpy and how to best approach ani's training to find a better path to help ani cope with his emotions. it might be better for ani to find a path where obi can be close to him and teach him without ani being an actual jedi like obi suggested non jedi work in the temple for shmi and ani or maybe loosing qui gon obi will help take down palpy then leave with them to live on naboo teaching ani there. since they both like flying ( as anyone that has read about obi's "jedi apprentice" yrs ) and obi is good with programing which would be compatable to ani's mechanical skills theyd do good in business together as ani grows up. hard to say if anis relationship with padme is healthing but maybe not having the pressures of jedi rules and ani having better time dealing with emotions might form a healthier less obsessive relationship with her. (and uncle obi gets to be godfather lol maybe hook up with sabe?) ….. lol ….. I know ive re-witten their whole lives havnt I

You're making shmi into a very interesting character. While she would have little clue that obi-wan is acting strange she would have figured out anakin by now. While im well aware of the pressure the prophesy put anakin under ive never really considered just how damaging that first rejection by the council would have been to a child, but it would have been massive and likely took years of effort from obi-wan to repair. Its good to see the options they have layed out but im wondering how many options they really have. anakin and obi-wan are in this mess together (once again) so the choices may actually be rather limited once they both look at whats going to work with the other. Its good to see obi-wan spotting the flaws and missteps in jedi code and behavior, it will give him more tools and levers to play with...till he decides to fix them. Though really, while obi-wan was a great jedi he really threw the code out in big sections of his life. He was very attached to anakin, ahsoka, satine and siri tachi. The difference was he didn't let the emotions control him or act in ways they wouldn't approve of to protect them.

Will Anakin and Obi-Wan know that they are both from the future? And if so when?

For a second there at the beginning I was confused about what was going on, then I figured it out that it wasn't happening at that moment, but a memory. Poor Obi-Wan, he really has had a rough time with all this. Oh, Anakin seeing the Temple would definitely be hard as the last time you had been there you slaughtered all the Jedi living there.
Your story is one of my favorite stories to read. Sorry it took so long to review, I read the chapter as soon as it came out, but I was hoping that the longer I waited the more I would think of to say, but as you can see that didn't work for me :). Can't wait to see the next chapter!
