Writing oneshots on Ravenclaw!Ron, enticing us and leaving us hanging is a crime xD

I never knew I needed Ravenclaw! Ron until I read this. it makes sense for Ron to be in Ravenclaw. Ravenclaw isn't just academic intelligence. Ron can stand apart from his brothers now, seeing as none of them were sorted somewhere else. The sorting hat was fun to read. At first thinking Ron would absolutely be Gryffindor then actually paying attention and revising that choice. There needs to be more Ravenclaw! Ron. I love everything about this.

wow. i love this ravenclaw ron! it's so interesting and i never see him sorted there! and looking at it, it would be perfect, even though in gryffindor he acts uninterested. aha. but you wrote this brilliantly, and i only wished there was more of it! ooh, i wonder if hermione and harry ended up different here? i would absolutely love to read more of this!

Oh my. This was utterly adorable. I loved the way the hat was watching Ron before he ever even put the hat on. This is a very neat examination of a side of Ron that few people notice. thank you for this delightful one shot.

Ravenclaw!Ron is a take I haven't seen before. Never really realised how underappreciated he is! I really like the dialogue between Ron and the Hat as well. It's a bit funny, but the hat is quite wise, and that shows through.

Nice different view of Ron

I like it. Too bad this was only a one shot as a Ron fan it would have been very interesting to see how a ravenclaw Ron would have approached the life he led with Hermione and Harry. He may have realized that his parents were setting him up for failure off the start by giving him not only a mismatched wand but a damaged mismatched wand and then expected him to be top of the class at that. It's a wonder he was able to do anything at all with the unicorn hair sticking out of his brothers old wand.
Ravenclaw would have actually been the confidence booster Ron desperately needed at that younger age, heck even snape might have actually taught him something in potions when he asked a reasonable question. Bad part of it was that in Ravenclaw the trio would have never have formed, Neville would have been the one to take Ron's place and he was too unsure and shy of himself to worry about harry.
