I’ve never actually read a piece shipping Marco and Ace before...it was like, kinda weird? Cause I see them more as brothers? But your writing was so interesting thankfully it wasn’t a problem at all. I mean, a couple funny lines here and there pertaining to a pair I don’t necessary ship obviously wasn’t going to be an issue with writing as fascinating as yours.

And I love fics where there’s some sort of reaction...so with everyone watching the games this story was absolutely perfect. Definitely something I could reread without getting bored. Great job! You’re really talented!

Adorable! It was pretty clear Ace went on a nice little nostalgia trip to his childhood, and it was cute to read. The other character from the... Savage Pirates was it? He didn’t really play any role except being a sore loser. Next time making him a bit more of a foil for Ace (like giving him an actual line of dialogue that wasn’t just him responding blandly to a question), might make the random character a little more interesting without drawing attention away from Ace. Though you did give enough details on the random guy that the contrast was clear and somewhat interesting, just maybe not as developed as it could have been. ;)
