I loved it. I thought you nailed the characters pretty well. At times Gaara did thing that seemed odd for who he is but those were only very few. Your whole plot thing was very interesting with the beast and hidden people etc. refreshing.

Very nice ending and lovely tale. I will say I DID like Sarabi and was sad o see her die. I kept my hopes up that somehow they'd revive her from her eyeballs or something lol. Much Love! -daMichi Goddess

Don't pretend, you say...girl! I was hoping that by some miracle Sarabi would come back. I read too deeply into the title! And the fact that when she turned to sand, her eyes remained, I was under the impression that there was a reason! Don't pretend. Tch... Sure, I was annoyed in the beginning because like the rest, I kept thinking about how Gaara wasn't reading Sakura well and needed to "tell her" how he felt, so she didn't feel threatened by Sarabi, but I still liked the character, you gave her life. Sad...but, all is well. The story was wonderfully executed, so I thank you for all of your hard work. Since I found myself in love with your writing, you'll forgive me for cutting this missive short, I'm going to go a peruse your other works~!

Ah I got kind of bored half way through and skipped to the ending. Also those authors notes saying there would be a sequel really drained me of any enthusiasm. I only started to read this story because it was marked as complete.
