Amazing chapter.

Almost crying happy tears right now... because although it's still kinda angsty and everything's not perfect yet and they've still got a thousand obstacles to overcome, it was adorable to a whole new level at the end there, and so very in-character in all its imperfections. I like that they had a son, as well, I think it reinforces AUs and how things could have been so different when the hypothetical Ella is a boy... I have loved this story, and would absolutely love to see some more Maddison from you whenever... pre-series is my favourite, leading to a different outcome, but I like some alternate takes on how their stories ended, too.

Hi! I read your story as soon as you have published a new chapter, but only now I am able to leave a review. As always I really like the way you write; you can paint every nuance of Mark and Addison and make them so vivid that I feel like I know them really well. So, I love it. I really loved this second chapter. I love to see the complicity between Mark and Addison, he is a perfect lover and good friend; so far away from the manwhore who we are used to seeing in the show.
I'm looking forward to the next update!

WOW. This has quite quickly become a favourite story of mine, one of the best Maddison fics I’ve read in a long time! This chapter was absolutely fantastic, Maddison angst is my favorite flavour, and you balanced Maddison angst so beautifully with Mark-and-his-backstory angst (I always felt that had so much potential, and you worked wonders with that potential!) and the Addison/Addek/failed marriage angst. I have a thousand more words to say about how in love with this chapter I am (which reminds me - that last little bit 3) bug I feel that I’m squeeing and it’ll become rambling and not make a lot of sense... so much looking forward to the next part. You, and this fic have surpassed all expectations of a new Maddison writer, and that doesn’t happen round here very often anymore! Ahem. I loved it. Lil xx

Aaaw this is really cute! I really love how you handled Mark backstory, and it's so sweet how hard he's trying to change for a better man and father. It's sad tho he can't enjoy Addison's pregnancy with her on a full timing, but I'm sure it will get better!
