Thank you for this representation of Sakura, soomething so incredibly amiss in the canon. Maybe I'm a sucker for happy endings too but I really enjoyed where you took this - the right amount of realism, reflection and development with the thread of humour that lightens up all the serious parts. Really, great storytelling all the way. I'm glad I stumbled across it.

I agree with your note. I used to be a hardcore NaruSaku shipper. But then during the war I saw how Naruto became a doormat to Sasuke. Naruto let Sasuke belittle his teammates and it was only Kakashi who defended Sakura all the way. If it was Sakura, she would've defended Naruto. Anyways, I was hoping Sakura won't end up with Sasuke's doormat. Worse, she ended up with Sasuke himself.

I love your characterization of Sakura. It kind of fits with the canon part before chapter 699 where she doesn't trust Sasuke at all.
