Love this! It reminded me of a headcanon I read that Sam's afraid of clowns because the jokers a clown and he wants to kill batman (and of course Dean is Batman).

haha, Dean's commentary is literally MY commentary, on that entire movie. From the wonder at the older brother letting his little brother play outside alone, to wondering how quickly he and Sam could gank him XD
I actually helped myself to feel better after watching that movie, imagining Dean and Sam hunting Pennywise. Ugh. Hate that movie.
No wonder Sam's freaked out.

This was great! I love the flashbacks thrown in and how protective Dean is through the whole thing. I wasn't expecting it but it definitely fits :)

Great story. The very first ad I saw for this movie made me go "Oh noooo - poor Sam!" Just the thought of him seeing the trailer in a diner somewhere made me cringe. Hope Deans not a fan of American Horror this season, either. Thanks for writing!

Oh, LOVE! Thank you for posting this. How about a chapter 2 where it does become too much for Sam and he does end up needing to stay in Dean's room? Maybe a nightmare or two? Just a thought... ;)
