Question for the Vytal tournament.
If jaune has the tips of his claws out, just the tippy tip, and punched someone, would it break their auras and leave a little scratch? Or do the claws work differently? Like, do they cut through aura to get to the skin and only drop their levels a little or something?

Honestly Jaunes biggest weakness is Pyrrha. She might be able to control his body as a whole with her semblance. Or even just make slight adjustments to his movements. She’d win Alamo’s every time but Jaune might be able to power through her subtle changes or maybe even through her semblance at full power. Emeralds semblance won’t do shit to him since his senses won’t be fooled by it when it only affects sight and makes them see things that aren’t there. Given that Amber saw a dust spot where Emerald moved in her episode.

this has been very enjoyable and refreshing to read. All of the new concepts and ideas of everything that make this story unique. Expanding and changing the abilities of the Maidens (Maidens became kind of boring in the original canon because it seemed like they could all do the same things) as well as how technology works in the world of Remant. I enjoy the concepts of fusing Marvel and RWBY together. I am kind of wondering, does Jaune have a large aura reserve? I know that it doesn't exactly make sense with his adamantium skeleton that disperses aura and his healing factor, but I wonder if that will play into his semblance (if you give him one, not that he needs it).

So is Jaune gonna learn how to use his Aura?
