| Randomperson chapter 93 . 6/13 So I just thought of something. Have you ever seen the Ticci Toby voice lines? They are, I believe, the origin of the 'Who needs a social life when I have the voices in my head?' thing. But anyway, there also voice lines for LYRA to go along with it. In them, I believe she says that she killed a group of policemen who were going after Toby, and that she'd always watch and protect him(as a ghost of course). So I was thinking, Muggles can't see ghosts, but Magicals can, and I'm pretty sure that ghosts can decide if they want to be seen. The Creeps, however, can also see ghosts. So, at some point where Toby has to enter a magical area(let's say, Platform 9,3/4? To pick up Isaac from school?), because of a series of events(specifically something that would dramatically increase the amount of magic in the area), the sheer amount of magic would force Lyra to show herself. As for why she didn't before, Toby couldn't hear her in the story, so maybe he only could after he officially became a proxy/Creep, and Lyra was a bit on the fence on if she wanted to let him see her, because he didn't know she existed? I probably thought this through to much tbh but I was listening to her lines and this popped into my head. |
