I'm really glad this story is back! I hate assuming the worst about the fate of these unique (to my knowledge) ideas!

Well I’m kinda happy I found this story before it went on a hiatus, the cliffhanger would have killed me. Very interesting so far, the whole thing kinda started as a „result by gets bullied“ scenario, the went tits up really fast. Also happy to see that the rest of the team noticed something immediately, anything else would have been kinda unrealistic they are all pretty observant and ruby isn’t a good liar. Hope to see the next chapter soon.

I started reading this story an hour ago and are already caught up, sadly enough. I love reading how this was written and have nothing bad to report. The drama and suspense really made me want to continue reading rather than bore me with a lot of seemingly unnecessary drama, something that happens quite often when an author doesn’t explain their reasoning well which you did here. By giving well thought out reasoning behind each characters’ actions, it really fleshed them out and made them all the more real for me to read.

Tl;dr: Well thought our reasoning made it amazing and the suspense and drama added did too.

Tbh it was a little frustrating trying to read this in the beginning because of Cardin and the whole blackmailing, but now it's less so (and is also more interesting). Thanks for writing!

So, this is actually the second time I stumbled upon this story. Truth be told I wasn't too interested the first time around (however long ago that was) mainly because the story felt more like a bit of torture porn. Not really that extreme but it's the best word I can come up with.
I suppose you're building up for... whatever but in my opinion you might have spend too much time on just Ruby being under Cardin's thumb.
Ruby just doing whatever Cardin wants without asking anyone for help... might be in character or not? I honestly can't tell for sure but it is frustrating as all hell to read.

However, this chapter was genuinely great. Your portrayal of the Silver Eyes and Ruby's thoughts while it was happening was pretty awesome. Not just your usual flash of silver light and cut to black but having some thought put into it as well as Ruby realizing a lot of important things.
It would honestly be great to see Ruby confront Ozpin on the Silver Eyes. Generally, this chapter opens a lot of possibilities of which I hope to see more of.
