i didn't read all of it cause i started to get a headache but i added it to my favorites list so i can read the rest of it later and i promise i will but what i did read of it i like. (i'm saying all that 2 say what i read of it was good) :)

The whole story is great! Congrats for your good writing skills and for have let me taste a bit more John Doe thant the 21 Fox Episodes! ;)

I thought this was very good. Very well written. There a few lines here and there that I thought JD would never say, but it's been a while since I've watched the show and I've only got two episodes on tape so I could be wrong. Either way it was really good.

I am seriously impressed. And in spite of all the nice things I usually say in my reviews, it takes a lot to seriously impress me :-)
Your take on JD fits in beautifully with the way he's written for the show. Your plot is delightfully twisted; the story is complex, involving, and surprising. The whole piece has the feeling that one usually gets from watching an episode of John Doe (or the Pretender, another great series no longer extant).
Your doespeak is perfectly meshed, and (clearly) exhaustively researched. My geek-half loved that at least as much as the story itself.
I loved it. I wish I'd written it, except I don't think I'd have done it nearly as much justice.
My only suggestion for revision is in the scene where JD gets put in the jail cell for 27 hours. The dialogue feels a little bit stilted, especially compared to the rest of the character interactions. And I don't get the feeling that he's really nervous about it until /after/ he's in the cell. I mean, he says he's nervous, but he doesn't /show/ it. Throw in a little more sweat, a quaver in the voice, a weak feeling in his knees...don't just tell us he's nervous, /show/ it :-)
But that's my only constructive comment, and it's pretty durn minor. Especially against the scope of the rest of this.

You and I spoke on the JD forum. We discussed briefly that John Doe and the Pretender series have a lot in common. Though I go by dark refuge there (they already had a maestra lol).

I really enjoyed your story and would like to read more of it when it becomes available.

I found your characterization very good. I loved the randomness of his thoughts and the trivia. So very JD as he was written for the show. An excellent effort. I hope you will continue your story. For like the Pretender, John Doe can live on for many years to come, thru loyal fans and the wonder that is fanfiction. ;)

Wow, I can say that I started the John Doe fanfic section, but you, by far, have the best fanfic ever. It feels so much like a real episode I could actually picture JD walking around some small town up in the mountains, forest all around. I could even smell the mountain air. Nice, nice twist. I loved it. I can't wait for the next part.

This is the first John Doe fanfiction that I have read. I think that is a great story. I love how you started the story. It really made my feel for John. I also liked the fact that he is having trouble figuring out what is going on. I liked the parallels between his feelings of having to find Theresa and his grief over Karen. I hope that I am making sense; and do not have run-on sentences.

Good job! Keep up the good work. I can't believe you left us hanging like that. I can't wait to find out what's gonna happen next.
