That was a fine start from Mycroft. But OH BOY, do those boys - or well, Mycroft - have miles to cover...! If I was Greg, it'd take AGES before I'd be able to trust him again. Mycroft REEEEEEEEEEEALLY messed up! But at least he realized it, and I don't think he'll risk losing Greg again.
LOL! Funny you should mention Sherlock in the author's note. I'm totally okay with him not being mentioned more. But I have A LOT of fantasies of the wrath he faced from John and Mycroft from his part in this mess... (growls) (then smirks)

I WOULD NOT forgive Mycroft easily, if at all. How easily he thought the worst... How little he trusted... How HORRIBLY he handled the whole thing... The PAIN he's putting Greg through... I have NO IDEA how he can possibly make up for that! (GROWLS)
