Wait, so first guns, and now a police station? What time period is this based in exactly?

I'm not an expert writer but, I think you have the basis of a really good story and the points you bring in all feel like they can be so real. Yet, I think the weakest thing about this is that it's so... short in pacing, everything moves so quickly and because of that your ability to tell the story gets significantly hampered. At times, there are a lot of missed opportunities or unnecessary sections that lead to just a sentence or two describing some random occurrence that could mean something else or give readers more natural break between characters. Reading it again, I can tell we're meant to feel something deep and resonant between Shouto and Momo, especially with the former's reflections in this chapter but because you move so quickly with your story, it both feels too short and too hit and missed. Regardless, I don't mind this, the tale you tell is pretty damn good, it just lacks the sufficient style to hold attention as it needs.
