Sweet story. Just an FYI though, the horse was"well over ten hands" I would hope so as ten hands' is only forty inches! (A 'hand' is equal to four inches).

Lovely story...but one thing went over my head...why would there be Silvan elleth in Alqualondë?
By the by, I LOVE Legolas' humor and snarkiness. That was something I so missed in the movies, but he was a smart-alec of a Prince.

Brilliant story! :) I had no idea who I expected Legolas and the Twins to encounter, but I certainly didn't think of Orome! Loved how casual he was, despite the Elves' awe. :) I was surprised that Elladan's horse spooked and threw him, though- I'd have imagined that an Elven horse would be calm around Orome and Nahar, since Orome is Lord of the Forests... oh well. I still loved reading this!
