Guest chapter 35 . 5/2 Cuando subiras actualizaciones de esta interesante historia? |
Cyberbeasttitan chapter 35 . 4/20 Great idea, but execution not so much. Always pissed me off how the show just brushed this off, like a lot of story ideas they've had. |
DJTimmer chapter 35 . 9/8/2019 So, the gods hate the unpredictable, and try to alter fate to make life predictable. Seems like a arrogant way to make them, but does make for an amusing read. But what I don't understand is why they are blind to ritual spells. I hope that's something you explain later on. Looking forward to what happens next. |
DJTimmer chapter 33 . 9/5/2019 I don't know what was more amusing. Kar narrating Marco's love life, or Janna now being able to pass all tests in school. But leaving of with not one, but two cliff hangers is just cruel. Good thing I'm behind, now I don't have to wait to see what happens. |
MRAY 4TW chapter 30 . 9/4/2019 Holy... Well, to heck with Hekapoo, am I right? I positively love this chapter, and Angie being ooc but it still fell into the character for some reason. I don't know how to describe it. It just worked, So you keep working that. Amen. MRAY 4TW |
DJTimmer chapter 32 . 9/4/2019 I fell behind and am just now picking up where I left off. I very much enjoyed how you wrote this chapter. The first part leaves me with more questions than answers. But since these are random memories, that's to be expected. The talk with Skullnick was well thought out and the bully scene was had a nice ending. Now I'm curious to see how Marco will teach magic. And I have 3 new chapters to read. Hee hee |
BrazeRancor chapter 35 . 8/29/2019 Is Kar angry or approving? Guess I’ll have to wait to find out! Great chapter as always. |
Mr. Haziq chapter 35 . 8/29/2019 What a way to break in a swear and justifying it. Kar doesn't seem happy... |
Gallifrey denizen chapter 35 . 8/29/2019 great chapter, hindsight is always 2020 and Jackie has the benefit of it whereas Marco did not. |
realitymodedev chapter 34 . 8/17/2019 ...no no no. That is *way* too blatant foreshadowing at the end there! |
Mr. Aanonymous chapter 7 . 7/1/2019 are there any lemons in this fic? |
ChameleonGiant chapter 34 . 6/22/2019 Omygosh guys! I didn’t even want to put this down for the longest time! Your writing is amazing! There’s like, SO much information and stuff that takes place in the span of a few days, and then coupled with all the flashbacks (which is amazing with how each one is well-developed, relevant in some way, and really fun and interesting to read), it’s honestly both incredible and overwhelming but mostly incredible! Even the filler stuff is really fun to read and also gives this story a lot of flavor, like how they provide these little niblits of character interaction and answer more mysteries about them. I’m really surprised that despite everything being convoluted and overly complicated it all still manages to flow so naturally. Sort of like... reading it feels a little chaotic, full and organic as opposed to feeling organized and boxed up rigidly and neatly. I’m not sure if that quite makes sense, but I love it! I love that it feels like a tree about to tear though the roof of a building! And I also love that it’s all so deliberately told in a way that’s nearly always managed to keep me captivated. I don’t think it’s easy to achieve that steady streak when writing a story, so y’all should be really proud! And then I’m really impressed by how you pretty much just took a handful of concepts that were presented in the show and took full advantage of how loose it’s interpretation already was by completely building off of it. I could practically see where all the theorizing and brainstorming was rolling onto the pages in some parts of the story, and it was so cool to see it bleed through the writing! Everything just seemlesly started to fit together and it was blowing my mind and ahhhhhhh! Your story is so awesome! And then this chapter. Holy cow. It was a literal POETRY slam watching Marco coming to the realization that he wasn’t going to do this by playing by the rules but was already enlisting his own band of Earth rebels. Once the Safe Kid, now a freedom fighter ready to break all the rules and take what he’s more than rightfully earned through attaining those scissors! Realistically speaking I also think it’s a catastrophic idea but it’s so hard not to root for Marco. He’s gone through Hell and back, a worse version of the trial (just like Angie said) and survived! Freakin’. Poetry. I love it. I know there’s probably a ton of other things I wanted to say while reading this but I’m still like overloaded by everything I’ve read up to this point so my brain might not be able to remember it all now but anyhow! I really enjoyed the relationships. I think it’s really great getting to see his parents be the sweethearts they are since it wasn’t often we got to see them. Marco’s and Kar’s friendship (or bromance maybe?) is so hilarious to read, I’m always giggling at how snide and ridiculous the two are with one another! Kar’s like the last character I expected to ever see again in this story but I love how much weight his character has in it. He’s vulgar and ruthlessly honest and I love the freaky tentacle so much! He’s probably my favorite one haha. By the way, since he also entered that cave that Marco took Jackie and Janna to... does that mean he maaaaybe also got a wish granted, maybe even if he wasn’t conscious for that trip? If he really wasn’t that is. Oh yeah and then I’m really impressed with Moon and the role being played by the High Commission. I know that there’s still more to see but with the way you’ve established their roles and seeing how much care your putting into each individual character, I have faith that you’ll give them more demensions then the show did itself. I’ve definitely already seen it with Moon and Heckapoo. And y’know, I was never super interested in Jackie’s character that much ‘cause she always just seemed like the chill chick and that was it. But I loved seeing her get angry when Marco barely remembered her. I loved seeing her confront and question things, forgive and comfort her friend-rival while struggling with problems of her own, and I loved seeing her really ask herself if magic was actually a good idea. I never expected to get so invested and appreciative of her too. Things are about to get real hot and spicy now that she can read Riradish! (I know I butchered that I’M SORRY). And I think this was from like, 4 or something chapters ago but I just realized why Kar got upset and called Star mom and now I’m all torn up about it thaNks T-T. I really want to see Star come out! I’m so curious about what she’s been plotting in her room. I’m almost certain she hasn’t just been mopping. Not that crazy rebel princess. Anyways thanks so much for providing my life with svtfoe sustenance! I’m practically drowning in it :D |
ChameleonGiant chapter 27 . 6/21/2019 Everything about this chapter KILLED ME |
ChameleonGiant chapter 24 . 6/20/2019 This is my favorite chapter! I love that it’s literally just Marco and his cool tentacle appendage mate going on this whole little excursion to kinda cool down from everything. It was, dare I say, super incredibly heartwarming seeing these badass kids have no idea how money on Earth works but working together and getting distracted by the sweet joys of ice cream! Having the context about them actually being adults but dealing with being kids again while getting reacquainted with a nice, peaceful dimension makes it all the more amusing. Also, I know that what I’m about to say is referring to stuff from a few chapters ago but I also really liked getting to see Jackie and Star have a heart-to-heart with eachother. Like, I didn’t realize how much I appreciated it until I started reading this fic. Jackie’s character was never really explored in the series so it’s nice getting to know her here, and see her and Star being buddies was pretty great! |
ChameleonGiant chapter 14 . 6/20/2019 You brought the monster arm back! And what do ya know, it had a change of heart! I love how all these little mysteries keep unravelling little by little. And reading this along with the brief flashes of Marco's backstory gives the entire thing a little bit if flavor and intrigue |
