Reviews for A Little Blame Goes a Long Way
honu59 chapter 8 . 10/25/2017
A satisfying ending to this enjoyable story! Steve's dialog as he speaks with Mrs. Davaut is excellent - very true to his pattern of speech - I could hear his voice! It's nice that Dan is noble enough to acknowledge Mrs. Davaut's suffering even though he has been the target of her venom. I hope that all of them, including Governor Jameson, can put this incident in the past where it belongs. It's time for healing. Thanks for another good story! Any more in the pipeline?
honu59 chapter 7 . 10/19/2017
Wow, this woman tried to kill Danny? Steve's right, she shouldn't be walking around with her freedom. Steve will be on the warpath now! Danny probably didn't press charges at the time because he felt so bad about Amy's overdose. But really, the record needs to be set straight. I'm looking forward to being a fly on the wall for Steve's next conversation with Dan. What an update!
honu59 chapter 6 . 10/15/2017
"That's one expensive nap you're taking, young man!" Love that line, LOL, it's so Doc!

It's good to know that Danny is out of danger and the medical investigation is on to discover just what went wrong. Of course, Danny's emotional turmoil must have contributed to the situation. Now Steve has an eyewitness to Dan's Berkeley years in Andy Fujikawa. I'm looking forward to reading their conversation over coffee. What will be revealed next? Good chapter, keep them coming!
fs440 chapter 5 . 10/11/2017
I guess Danno won't be going back to work after this. Right? No way Steve woukd put him back on the job if he can't focus- let alone after a medical incident like this. (heart attack or panic attack?)
honu59 chapter 5 . 10/11/2017
Oh no! Heart attack? Panic attack? Something else? The tropical heat amplified by the rooftop location just makes it worse. At least Steve and Ben are now there to help. This is quite the cliff-hanger. I'll be waiting eagerly for the next chapter!
honu59 chapter 4 . 10/10/2017
Yes, Amy made a really bad choice and Danny had no say in that choice, so not his fault at all. But that doesn't mean that Danny is not affected - he is deeply affected on an emotional level. I think Steve is right, Dan should seek some professional help. But later - there's a police emergency right now. I hope that Danny can suppress this mess long enough to do his job and not be distracted. Distraction could be deadly. Thanks for the update!
honu59 chapter 3 . 10/3/2017
The story is out, and yikes, what a story! That's a big load of guilt for Danny to carry, especially when it is not his fault. One can't control the free will actions of another. But it's understandable that Mrs. Davaut is angry. Sounds like she needs a whole lot of counseling. Maybe Danny does, too. But first, Steve will have to work on preserving Danny's job. The governor is out to dismiss him. No bad apples in an election year. Great story, looking forward to your next update!
netball007 chapter 2 . 9/24/2017
Love Dan Williams stories, great start I really enjoyed it and I am looking forward to reading more.
Jeangoony chapter 2 . 9/24/2017
Looks like we are going to have another intriguing story about Danny. I like the clear and precise way you are showing Steve's character and how he feels about his team. Also the rapport between him and the Governor. Exactly as projected on the episode. Like the previous story I cannot guess where this is going. Holding my breath for next chapters
honu59 chapter 2 . 9/24/2017
Ouch! I think that is quite a harsh statement from Jameson, even if he is concerned with an upcoming election. He's always said that he has complete confidence in Steve, so I would think that faith would transfer to Danny as well. At least Danny has Steve in his corner. The mystery continues and Dan is in a bad way. I hope that he's not completely self-destructive. Should Steve have left him alone after the party? Perhaps not. Eagerly looking forward to your next installment!
honu59 chapter 1 . 9/21/2017
I'm happy to see a new story from you and you've set up another mystery here! What could Danny have possibly done to so irk Mrs. Davaut? I'm sure it's going to cause a heap of trouble and I'm looking forward to reading all about it. Good description of the discomfort of the tuxedos in the Hawaiian heat. I hope they are not the velvet and ruffles of 1970s formal wear. The team looks so much better in traditional black, as I see them in my mind. Looking forward to more!
