I understand from Lanie you aren't really writing anymorebut I have to say I really loved this. It was very insightful and I love your ideas as to how Amanda ended up with a desk in the Q bureau.

Part 1: Garnering the courage to let go of what you don't really want; in order to reach for what you do want, but may not get. Lee reached out to comfort and lift Amanda's spirits.
Part 2: Classic Lee ... "Their comfort level with each other was, quite frankly, beginning to make him uncomfortable." Humbled Lee "... felt as if something had been decided between them in that moment. He knew he'd need some time to sort out all of his feelings about this day, but it was as if they had crossed over some invisible barrier and begun to move toward a shared goal."
Part 3: The joy of knowing, "This time as they pulled away from each other all doubts had vanished. They stood there, looking into each other's eyes, and knew, despite all their differences, that they were exactly where they were meant to be."
You beautifully filled in the thoughts on their faces with poignant words during three pivotal points along their together forever journey.

Very well thought out timeline. Loved it.
