Hello, it's me again.. Being back from the Holidays, I hope that you had a Merry Christmas, and nice New Years' Eve. I wish you and your family a very Happy, healthy 2018. After your so deserved pause, I hope to see a sequel to this story. Tim/Fish released and healing nicely at Gibbs's house then finding his own place, keeping remembering his past, building a future with Ellie and Boss. Even he doesn't return to be a field agent, he could work at cybercrimes, continue writing his books, even write a book about his experiences as Fish. I'm crossing fingers ;) ! Take care.

Woohoo, some memories are back.

Wow, it must be weird to just have a memory appear in your head out of the blue, csn definitely see how that would have you feeling combobulated. Love that word, very onomatopoeic.

So, no memories of his family have come through. Wonder how he will deal with them all visiting him. Maybe seeing them will trigger some.

Gibbs has been very focused in Tim/Fish, to the exclusion of all others nearly, which I can’t blame him for. But it is nice to see him thinking of his friends now too. Shows his concern for Fish has lessened somewhat. And he needs to nurture his own friendships, Fish has Ellie afterall

Hey, sorry I haven’t been able to read/review the final chapters until now, sometimes real life gets in the way . Hope it’s a nice surprise to get some reviews when not expecting them .

Now back to the story and Fish’s operation. Hope everything goes well. Saying take care of each other etc, sounds like he is saying goodbye, but we know he is a fighter, so I’m staying positive.
Haha, Gibbs secret tea drinker, I like that and that everyone knows for years lol.
Poor Boss, he must be missing his humans something fierce, he hasn’t known anyone else most of his young life.
Like the way you brought in your family background for Tim. Even mentioning Patrick, with a different slant to his death that fits this story.

Phew, so glad the op seems to have gone well. I guess we have to wait for him to wake to see if any memories have returned.

Oh the update to the family was a great way to summarize the story to now, seeing as we are nearing the end. Very nicely done.

Now that’s a very sly little cliffhanger. Does Boss refer to the dog, or are his memories back and he’s talking about Gibbs? Well done.

Thank you for another wonderful story. I know you hinted that Fish had some of Tim's memories come through, but I was hoping that you would reveal if all of his memories came back. The epilogue in my head says they did and he also retained the memories of being Fish from the mountains, incorporating the experiences into a confident whole personality. I look forward to your next story. Happy Holidays!

Really enjoyed this story. One thread had me curious. When Gibbs was going through the house looking at Tony's changes, he had a thought about Chalmers that he was going to run past Fish, then Tony. What was his plan? Or is that a thread for a sequel?

Finding Abby reset, and tracing her overthetop-ness to Kate's loss made me sigh in satisfaction. Gibbs having both of his boys in his home, at least for a while, should make easing back into civilized living easier. I find it hard to say goodbye to this story, as Fish McGee has definitely found a place in my heart, but leaving father and son in the presence of one happy doggie is a good place to get them ready to set out for a new life in the mind of your readers. Thanks and cheers!

My friend, my happiness of finding a new and long chapter was shattered when I read that it was the last one. This is another story ending, a bittersweet moment. I'm happy that they came back to their families but also curious about the outcome for Fish after he'll be released and healed. Mostly I want to thank you for this different but wonderful story, this amazing journey you took us. I was surprised that Abby decided to act more mature about her clothing and hairstyle but also annoyed that she called the Director "Leon", WTH ? And since when did she become a Dr ? I don't remember reading anything about that. It was interesting to see Gibbs's reaction to the changes Tony made at his home but he sounded rather pleased with them. I also loved the fact that he's planning for making a more permanent room for Fish and also for Ellie. Boss is a very smart dog, even if he doesn't understand the words, he surely can capture the feelings. I loved the scene where he and Fish meet again. It reminded me of the You Tube videos of pets's reactions to their owners's return after long absences. They are very touching scenes. I'm glad that the family told Gibbs about Tim's childhood, I could feel their pride at Tim/Fish's accomplishments. I hope that you're planning a sequel to this story because I feel as if it's incomplete. I hope to read about Fish returning to normal life, making himself a future whether he'll stay Fish or become Tim but a different one. Cheers and Happy Thankgiving !
