I am hoping the potion doesn't work or not as quickly as told. They need time to bond, not a rushed childhood or even time to adjust before next stage.
There is still time for this family to come together why rush it.
Also, take time to proof read your work before posting it...

I read both 8 and 9. I love the fact of how Draco is with Harry. I hope that Severus makes the potion to re-age Harry. I have to say that I was laughing out loud when I read the one statement of "How was he going to raise two boys when just last month he managed to kill every last one of his house plants."
I think what makes that statement even more hilarious is that Severus is a Potions Masters. Growing plants and taking care of them should be something that he does flawlessly. :) But hey everybody has something that they just could not do. With my husband, he could cook. In my mom's words, he could make tree bark taste good. But he could not make grits. He tried and tried and could never make it. They never came out right.
(I'm sorry, but that statement brought back some very good memories and I wanted to share it with you. :) )

You write the story that you want to tell, let it just flow, I am sure it will all come out fine!
It all ready shifted by having a potion reverse the damage.
Enjoy the writing and just let the story tell itself.
