I mean this in the nicest way possible but this is not very original. Like, it's interesting, sure, but there isn't really anything different about this vs the books aside form where harry spends his vacation. arguably Harry's fight with the basilisk was actually made less cool, he didn't even fight it himself.(yes I know he got help from fawkes but the only thing he did was eliminate the eyes,harry still got his heroic moment by stabbing the basilisk and being prepared to sacrifice himself to save ginny)

nothing against the original, but if harry is going to train with the xmen, I at least expect him to be bright enough to realize what a basilisk is. he must have seen some reference to it in a game or a movie or something while he was living with a bunch of kids and teenagers. I know he's young, and I know he might improve but to me he feels like a carbon copy of the original. He doesn't even have a mutation for Christ sake!

well and then there's him hooking up with ginny in the future but I already mentioned that in a past review so I wont talk more about that here.

Like I said, its enjoyable to read but not very unique or suspenseful because you have this far basically followed canon events to the T.

I have do admit I dont really understand this. There are so many cool characters harry could be paired up with in the marvel universe, or even just withing the xmen, but you chose Ginny? I mean, you haven't introduced her yet so I don't know what she's like in this fic but she was just so... bland? in the books and movies. I don't know, maybe its premature but it's kinda sad I think. but who knows maybe you'll write her in a way that'll make me like her more.

How about a Harry Potter as a soldier for a one shot story where Harry is kick out of Hogwarts after losing in his underage of magic hearing before his 5th and getting fad up with all of Dumbledore's manipulations and his actions and inactions against him he leave the magical world and then returns years later as a highly trained and deathly soldier set out to take down Voldemort and his Death Eaters on the orders of both the Queen of England and the Prime Minister because they both had enough with all of the competence and in actions of the Wizards to take down their magical terrorists Harry could be a member of the British S.A.S, U.S. Marine, U.S. Navy SEAL, Delta Force, Green Beret or a U.S. Army Ranger if he leaves the country and go to America or you can make your own magical special force unite that uses magical and non-magical combat and weapons that he is part off after he goes to another magical school in another country
