Akko's on fire!

I’ve reread this fic 3 times now, and it never gets old. It just has such a good story, and so many fluffy gay moments! It’s a shame that writers block keeps on dragging you down, but you can do this! I hope you bring this back!

I was re-reading this for probably the 5th time and I noticed the new chapter! I'm so happy you're back into it, no one writes Suakko quite as good as you. Also I'm just a sucker for both Suakko and the lesbian Lady/Knight trope. Also lore, love me some lore. Sucy teasing but also worrying about Akko gives me life.

btw, not that i'd recommend it RIGHT now, but have ya ever considered making an Ao3 accountI know it'd be hellish to try and transfer your stories over there, but generally it's a better system, and you also don't gotta wait to reply to comments after every single new chapter so, that might be nice too. i dunno, just a suggestion!

So glad to see this is still alive! I love that you are having Akko struggle with her inner fear. I also love the writing style and wish i was able to write like that. Cause like you've said writing is hard! Also... im going to be honest. I cant really remember what has happened in previous chapters! I remember some of the big things but thats it! I feel bad that i actually forgot and will go back and re-read everything! So ill see you next chapter and ill have re caught up!

Ok first things first. And totally unrelated to this chapter: My mom got a christmas tree topper this year and it's really pretty and projects spinning red, green, and blue patterns on the ceiling and it reminded me of this story and Suvy's magic circle ceiling.

Ominous things are on the horizon... hopefully Akko's not burning under that fire.

Ahem, I mean...I am most certainly glad that you have returned, o lord and savior. The Sukko community has been less than active lately over here on , and thus archiveofourown has become our new shelter...
Okay, now on a serious note - the chapter proper, even for how dark it was, felt like a pure bleedin' relief for some reason. Maybe it's because I still haven't recovered from the latest chapter of AevumAce's "Doll" (which, well, was quite the heartbreaker...) , maybe because I've been having an overall difficult semester and finding ouy that my favorite ficwriter is still alive was just that relieving, hell if I know. And for the fic proper (for real) - for some reason, I'm still getting the idea that Croix is somehow involved in all of this.
As for how I was doing lately - I already have one fic fully done, another one drawing to a close, and a quite large-scale AU fic currently in the works. So...Yeah, I guess I'm getting a bit too chatty, so, uh...

That was a very splendid chapter indeed! This gives a good sense of scale of Sucy’s magic power as well as how Akko mentally struggles with her own magical pact. Well done!

That was something bothering me: Akko’s wounds in her back. The scratches didn’t sound too deep based on your descriptions of them, and Sucy didn’t use her magic so they could scar, but were they treated in any capacity? Given that the wounds were inflicted by magical ice wolves, greater care should be given to such wounds, and unless I forget a line or two about cleaning up the blood and patching up the scratches, leaving them be seems rather irresponsible of Sucy. I’m sure that the next few chapters will explain this, but for now it seems like an important detail that hasn’t been addressed.

And magical mind control still makes it questionable how sincere Akko is about liking Sucy, which rather undercuts any romance whenever it’s brought to attention. I feel that Akko is usually sincere about liking Sucy, but the mind control has always felt like a rather controversial plot element that begs the question of consent whenever the more intimate moments begin to take place.

So much cute gay shit with the ever so faint tone of building dread. Lovely XD

Impressive magic, that. It might have been better to establish the limits of the magic in-story, but I’m sure you understand that in hindsight, so I have nothing much to add other than this chapter made feel all warm and fuzzy for Sucy and Akko again.
