I still find Squalo’s Boss-san weird, it sounds more like a Chrome thing than a Squalo thing (but more so because it’s literally Mr. Boss, and in Japanese if one refers to someone of higher position but without a specific title/position name like president or chief then it will usually be said as “name” plus “sama” or “san” with the former as the highest form of reference but usually there IS an appropriate suffix depending on the position. An example is like in the military, “General Frank” is “Frank-rikugentaishou” but can be referred as “rikugentaishou” when speaking to Frank, though in yakuza it’s more likely for them to use “oyabun” and “kumichou”)

Anyway, sorry for nitpicking but I couldn’t stop word vomiting. It would have been longer though, if I hadn’t noticed and erased a lot of other examples and explanations.
