Made perfect sense to me what you did, after all, in this humanity is a non-hostile trade partner, not really an ally/sub-state of the council (I'm sure the Asari gave the Turians hell for that). Though I hope Nihlus lives, while his appearance was brief in game, there was something about him that just made me like him (despite plot idiocy).

You seem to be gainsaying yourself here, wasn't the point that the human AIs were fettered? At least that's what we learned when Shephard talked with the Spectre on Normandy.

And please be consistent in your terminology, either use fettered or shackled. You can't even argue that Tali might use another word, since whatever she's saying is going through a translator to what Shephard would expect.
