I liked this story. Though I feel it was rushed at the end. Was it written like this purposefully?

Wow. Somehow I missed this story when it was published. I love it though! Except the end - I think Harry should have been a bit more skeptical of Snape's turnaround. But I really enjoyed when Snape was starting to be nice and Harry still hated him. In many stories, Harry sees humanity in Snape as soon as he treats Harry slightly civilly, which I'm not sure is totally realistic. Thanks for this. :)

Loved it, but wish it was longer

It was a tad bit confusing but I still love it nonetheless

It had a strong beginning, and overall I loved the plot. But halfway through, the chapters seemed rushed. There's so much of the story you left out, and the happy ending quite frankly seemed to pop out of nowhere.

Just dug an example out - one of the lines that really stuck with me was from Chapter 6: "A light flickered in his brain, some forgotten moment, perhaps from years previous, of him doing something similar..." Details like these are carefully dispersed throughout the story, and helped me to feel a lot more present while reading. I wish that more writers talked about these little deja vu moments, or let's say, casual intuition of characters. For example, that passing thought of Colin defending his brother. Or, when Harry notices that Snape has food on the table before he realises that he's hungry. Passing thoughts can be critical for character insight! I found a lot of these in your story, and it got me excited to read more.

The main plot, I felt, was solid enough to explore new ideas - so I would have loved to see some unorthodox developments. However, the plot played it safe. Instead, it was the odd sentence like this one, from Chapter 6, that made this story unique. At least in my opinion! Thanks again for the read!

This story really surprised me. Right from the summary, it could have fallen into many tropes - love potions gone wrong, Dursley abuse, trapped with Snape for the summer... Instead, these tropes were expertly navigated. I enjoyed how Harry's stubborn and rebellious nature persisted in every scene, and he would rather antagonise people than let anyone coddle or pity him. I also liked how Snape was portrayed: stubborn, but not stagnant, and always driven by his end game.

Overall all the characters were very down-to-earth about themselves and what was happening, which helps a lot when inside a magical world. The beginning and end of the story didn't take themselves too seriously - after some thought, I came to appreciate that. There were a couple details I was blown away by, but I can't seem to remember them now. Anyway - it was a fun story to sit down to, and I only wish it had been longer, haha. Thank you for writing it!

That was an interesting story, I must say that the idea of Harry being subjected to pain as long as He rejects the one he love is quit new to me.

Be I loved seeing the slowly build love on both part.

It's cute. I liked it. Love your idea with the fairy bit and physical pain.

Though, you could develop a little more i think. The chapters look a bit rushed and you speak very well of emotions but there is a lack in real scenes that explain where these emotions come from...
