It's not a combination I'd ever have thought of - honestly, I think there were a lot more sparks between Riker and Shelby - but it makes a fine story.

I liked that story. I enjoyed the interaction between them. It's actually a pity you couldn't go into parts of their interaction in more detail, because I think you would have done a wonderful job with it. My only slight criticism with it is the same with your other story; Data at times exhibited a little more emotion than he could have, such as seeing sadness in his eyes and giving genuine smiles. I've never writen a story involving Data but I know it would be tricky. I liked the story and I like your dialogue. Getting dialogue correct can be quite tricky, but you obviously have a knack to it. Well done and keep it up!
