I respect this decision. Even though I ship them, I feel like Jon should have learned somewhat from Robbs mistake as well as have his upbringing come into play, which I think you did wonderfully. I really wished Jon hadn’t bent the knee, at least at that point. It seems most likely he did it cause he was in love, but he also could have done it cause he thought she was a good queen especially when he didn’t want to rule. I feel like it’s the former which just doesn’t jive well with me considering his past experiences. He has a duty to the people who chose him like he had a duty to the Nights Watch. What changed to make him make such a decision. Basically, like I said before, I appreciate him not acting on his feelings and thinking like I feel his character should at this point. I don’t know. I really ship them, but I’m not completely a fan of how it was done, endgame aside. Anyway, rant over. I look forward to reading more and seeing the fallout from his decision as well as where this story goes. Great job. Good luck. Keep writing. Update soon!
