Guest chapter 8 . 6/29 Okay. Wow. What an absolutely BEAUTIFUL fic! I... ugh... I feel at a loss for words. I'm honestly shocked that the number of reviews are so less... It was a punch in the gut with all the emotions (not to say that I didn't enjoy it)... and the ending was remarkable. Although a teeensy tinsy part of me which still remains a child hoped for a comfortable, typical "happy ending" , a major part of me is pleased that you didn't take that overused clichéd route. On the whole, great job! Thanks for sharing:) |
ChaoticMinds chapter 8 . 11/15/2019 You know, I really should've seen that plot twist coming. Though I wasn't THAT surprised Tom was Voldie's son. I've always wondered why, exactly, the Federation didn't come to aid their people? It was never mentioned, oddly enough... I enjoyed reading this story, though. Seeing Tom and Harry's relationship grow was absolutely delightful. The ending, while bittersweet, was definitely realistic. Props to you, Author. :] |
Hersheythegreat chapter 7 . 6/28/2019 Lol ok So it apparently was. Now the question is did you mean for it to be that way or not? |
Hersheythegreat chapter 7 . 6/28/2019 Lmao “spill his tea” was spilling tea even a thing when you wrote this or was it just a coincidence? Either way I found that hilarious |
petites sorcieres chapter 8 . 7/11/2018 That was absolutely FANTASTIC omg. I really like the crew and how you introduced each character. And the species you assignated to them ( like Lune) or the jobs you gave them ( Draco at med bay was excellent). All excellent. Everytime I saw more members of the crew I was happy. Also I love Ron sooo much so I m glad he was here. Ron and Hermione are so good. I did not think at all we would get Tom as Voldemort son. I was wondering how the two existed separetemy from each other while also no Horcruxes. I love Harry the most and this was really great |
DrunkOnMusic chapter 8 . 6/10/2018 Wow. You really threw in a huge plot twist at the end. Despite the relatively sad ending, I love this story a lot. So, good job :) |
Beleaguer chapter 8 . 4/2/2018 This was a god damn masterpiece and I sincerely mean that. If not for the simple, efficient writing, or the touching relationships between characters without sacrificing their own personalities, without bashing a single one, then for the actual creativity put into this. Probably the one that sold me on the alien characters was Luna, she was a perfect fit. You could’ve gone the easy route and made them all human, but you made them fit into the Star Trek world seemlessly and it really made your story. Just everything about is...satisfying. Lol thank u for taking the time to write this out TL:DR: loved it! |
Sink into Darkness chapter 8 . 2/7/2018 Perfect ending, I love it. You did such an amazing job replicating the essence of Star Trek without having the knowledge of canon that a lot of trekies have. To be honest your fic is the best I've read so far. Not just as a HP crossover but as just a straight up Trek fic. While reading I wasn't bogged down by unfamiliar planet and alien names, rehashings of old episodes or Vulcan mating and clichés. And you ended it before the story became repetitive and excessively abusive to poor Harry, Ha! I applaud your wonderful composition and look forward to future works! A satisfied reader, SitD |
Fudge-Cakesss chapter 8 . 11/20/2017 WTF ONLY 30 REVIEWS? THIS IS AN OUTRAGE - MY FATHER WILL HEAR ABOUT - nahh jkjk haha. This was a really lovely read and I simply A.D.O.R.E an oblivious Harry and a vexed Tom. Pure fluff, pure joy urghhh makes me want to just lock them together in a room forever Hahaha okay my fangirl tendancies are showing gotta conceal em' MOving on, I really really loved the character development of Harry and Tom and I think you really brought them to life! Your vocabulary and grammar was impeccable and is something you should be damn proud of. Your paragraphing and punctuation is pretty top-notch too, really is a sight for sore eyes after reading badly punctuated/paragraphed fanfiction. Overall I just love how emotionally constipated Tom is like WE NEED MORE OF SUCH STORIES You did a fantastic job and I'm gonna go read other of your fanfics right his instance despite having a test to study for tmr ahaha |
Robin Lynn Smith chapter 8 . 10/7/2017 Well I can't pass up a Harry Potter/Star Trek influenced story. So here we are. And that was absolutely awesome. It's far too late for me to be awake, but I couldn't bring myself to put down the story. This is wonderful! |
SomeNobody chapter 8 . 9/24/2017 Oh, just wanted to say that as amazing as this is, maybe a beta would be wonderful for your story. |
Codename-SN chapter 8 . 9/24/2017 Well, I'm not overly surprised. About the fact that Tom was indeed still working for Voldemort during the earlier chapter. I mean you did give a hint about this when Harry was kidnapped so yeah... The 'son' part was a bit unexpected though, I must admit. But! This entire fic was everything I wanted but never knew that I even wanted it. Satisfying ending too, and really, i can't say the same for many fics, great beginning or not. You really did an amazing job. And okay, there were many possibilities on how you could've expanded on something or the other but I think that is purely an opinion. This fic is stunning as it is and I wouldn't have it any other way. To an incredible story (also, great characterization) that I finally finished! (Despite real life.) I hope more people get to enjoy this brilliance. |
SomeNobody chapter 7 . 9/24/2017 Purely platonic bonding moments! Hahahaha I kinda died at that part. |
Guest chapter 7 . 9/24/2017 Yeesh. I think I wanted to comment on something or the other but then the last part was kind of dazzling... I don't really remember what I wanted to say. |
SomeNobody chapter 6 . 9/24/2017 "Tom was sat (should be 'sitting' or 'seated' though) on the couch beside Harry, hovering like some kind of cloud of doom." This line was just great! Loved it! XD |
