I can't even say how much I love this. The way you portray Clockwerk is beyond perfect, and I really can't get enough of his inner monologue. I've always thought it was funny how he's so intelligent and so deluded at the same time. I guess that's kinda what makes a great villain, huh?
Anyway, as I said, I absolutely love this. I think this site is sorely lacking good portrayals of Clockwerk, but you've already proven yourself to write him very skillfully, both with this and with your other story with Tennessee Kid. Though this particular bit may not get a sequel, I do hope you can find a way to write more about the big owl. I know I'd be one of the first to read it.
