Im not gonna judge it too harshly cause a lot of people do this kinda thing in their prologues but this chapter had WAY too much exposition. Never talk directly to the reader to explain the state of the world or your characters motivations. Instead, that kinda world building should come organically through character dialogue and interaction. The only worse way to do this would be internal character monologues.
