this is the first fan fiction i have ever read

I like the idea that it's from the slime's perspective. You don't need so much description during the conversations - let the slimes' words speak for themselves. I also like the idea of the religeous nature of the conflict and how to interpret the rancher. Finally, I'm wondering if you have a back story that would get the slimes to sound so educated. Can't figure how simple creatures would have such complex thoughts - like democracy and associations. Keep writing!

Your story didn't teach me anything... except for that Slimes CAN talk. It was weird in a good way, too.

This was really cute to read! I would love to see more of this; especially if it delves into the slime characters a bit more. Like if there is a specific reason Derek sees Beatrix as their savior instead of their captor.

I hope there are more stories like this where the perspective is from the slimes and how they view their world and Beatrix. It's an interesting one, and it's something that I really enjoy :)
