Oh goodness gracious, I just love this story! The brokenness of Severus and how he finds the light in Rose and Hermione is written so lovely here that I just couldn't put this story down. I like that he is written as still distrustful and even wearing down a bit as he's gotten older, but he has become a bit more mellow towards Harry and in his interactions with Rose. I kind of almost wish there was an epilogue to give a little more of clarity of how the future turns out (like if he and Hermione end up having a child of their own or end up retired to the seaside cottage), but this ending was still satisfying enough.

Overall, this story really pulled at my heartstrings with Severus and Rose, so great job!
