I don't understand this one... Kurenai?... She's old enough to be his MOTHER..Even in the start of canon.. Think about it... AT his PRIME she'll be in a nursing home! Not exactly what you'd call a "love-interest"... Passing "ship-in-the-night"? Maybe.. But I have NEVER understood authors obsession with getting him with the kunochi of the leaf... Their not just "slightly" older then him, usually they're DOUBLE or more his age! It makes NO SENSE... I know a LOT of authors don't like: Ino, sakura, hinata and yakamho.. BUT THAT'S ALL THERE IS... (girls from other villages ALSO MAKE LITTLE TO NO SENSE... When is ever gonna see them?.. How can they raise a family together if they are never around each other?) EVEN CANON got this... with chouji getting a kumo girl, shika getting a suna girl ... You may not LIKE the GIRLS (not women) in konoha... BUT THEIR ALL YOU GOT TO CHOSE FROM!

I know I technically have no say in this story, but I am slightly disappointed that there is an actual pairing.

With you teasing Fu last chapter makes me wish this wasn't a strictly NaruxKurenai fanfic. I just really like the stories i have read in the past with Naruto and Fu together. They werw usually fun and sweet.

Hey! Fantastic story so far. I'm not positive but it seems like Kurenai isn't aging correctly. I feel like when she took Naruto in she was 12 and he was 3. Now he's 6 and in one of the last two chapters it said she was 13. So he somehow got the years older and she only agreed one year. I might have misunderstood though.

I'm glad you decided to continue this story. I'm curious what the difference between this and the rewrite is. I can't wait to see how powerful Naruto gets. Keep it up.

I'm a fellow romantic and love your story thus far. I admit that the backstory was a bit too lengthy for me but have no real complaints. Keep up the great work. (I realize i still have 4 more chapters to read but i thought I'd go ahead and review here.

P.S. i think you missed a golden opportunity for some, lets say 'divine' humor when you had Amaterasu refer to herself as his guardian angel. I would have went with godmother/goddessmother lol. Maybe even fairy godmother lol. It's punny
