And here we get answers! I wonder why no one (Hana, Tsume, etc) had wondered if there was any foul play involved in Kaito’s death. The grief, maybe? And reading from his perspective of the hatred he feels from the citizens, oof, it hurts you more when you realise he’s really only just a twenty something year old.

Really engaging perspectives and stories

O.O weird things surround Kaito and Danzo, even odder than I could have thought a few chapters ago. My attention has been captured!

Oh damn I did not see that imposter stuff with Kaito and Danzo coming! (But then again how could I have?) Danzo says he’s got mind walk evidence? He seems to truly believe that his student was dead? Is he deluded or is it true? O.o You are very crafty, author-sama, very crafty indeed!

Wait a minute, does this mean that Naruto is going to be adopted by Ensui? That would be such an amazing plot point and I really approve of the direction for Ensui and Kiho, but I'm confused because it is never mentioned in the main story outside of Hana seeing Naruto with them and I would think Naruto being raised by her sensei would be a pretty big deal, not to mention the huge political consequences of the Jinchuuriki being raised by a Nara and Yamanaka.

This is wonderful, and I'm overjoyed that of all the characters, Naruto is who they've adopted (hopefully permanently!). Can't wait to see what kind of impact this makes on the timeline of Bloodless.

Holy shit, does this mean he thought Kai was an imposter due to what Ensui did to him? Affter Kai probably murdered his brother/cousin in Iwa. That's almost as tragic as Kakashi's story

This such a great chapter, it might be interesting to see what if the dogs had one too
