Nah but all bullshit aside, I can't remember how long ago I left that comment but i was just pissed about how you led the Clermont and Serena thing for so long and then just threw it to the wayside. I mean it IS your story but that was a let down. I honestly didn't think you'd actually respond since no other authors ever do and their recent stories. This is a finished story from years ago and I must say it's cool to see you still reply to reviews on it. I wasn't trying to be a dick but that's just how I come off. I enjoy your stories so I'm sad to see how we started off. Hopefully no hard feelings. And good luck with the coronavirus bullshit :-D

Brilliant, simply brilliant

I am still convinced the strange psychic-fighting type Pokémon Gary saw in the pictographs are/were the Pokémon humans evolved from. I am hoping someone shows Ash at some point just so he can explain that. Gary’s reaction would be priceless! As a scientist, answer one question and suddenly have 20 more!

Please say you aren't done with this world you've built! It doesn't even need to be close to as big as the story you made for Ash. It could just be Gary working on the pictograms. Leaf with her poisons and cures. Misty becoming a Water type Master. I dunno, I'd be ok with just about anything

Love it! The battle was good! And loved that Ash healed Red's Charizard. I do wonder, what will Red do now? Stay as a Hermit at the top of Mt. Silver? Revert to Kanto Champion (Lance does deserve a break from being champion of two regions)? ... Become the Leader of the G-Men? Oh well, Ash deserves this win and I expected his choice of letting the feather go (although I would have kept it, not as a "chain" but a reminder that the choices we make count in our lives). Looking forward to more!

Wow, two chapters in one week? You're fast!

I must admit, I was a little surprised to see Lapras back to greet Ash, but it's a good surprise!

Red here... wow. Talk about doing a 180; he's laughing and is truly proud of Ash. I wonder how long it's been since he's laughed like that after everything that he's had to put up with and go through with his rank.

That said, my goodness, were there a lot of things going on-the outer battle, Ash's inner battle and struggles with his new responsibilities as Master, the goodbye with the Rockets (which I thought was adorable and a wonderful way to wrap up Ash's relationship to them), his thinking about the friends he made (both human and Pokemon), and the final scene with Ho-oh's feather... this was a fantastic way to end one chapter and a great way to start off a new one for Ash.

You really did wonders with writing each character's perspectives, even with the ones that might not be your favorites. That can be a hard thing to do, but you pulled it off magnificently and I applaud you for it. Thanks for writing this! I look forward to more from you. :)

The battle overall was pretty intense, though we wouldn't have it any other way.
Visually appealing might be the phrase to describe the ending, and the series altogether.

Wow…Just…Wow.

I’ve said this before, and I’ll say it again: the stories you write are some of the best that I’ve ever seen on this site. They are just so great that I can’t even describe how amazing these are. But I’m going to try. So many words can be used to describe this last chapter, but I’m just going to use two: satisfying and heart-warming.

The final battle with Red was brutal. And I know you said you’re not good at writing battles, but I think that that was one of the most engaging ones that I’ve ever seen in years! You can almost feel the emotions in the fight itself. And I think I speak for all the fans when I say that more than anything else in his life, Ash deserved this victory.

The flashback scenes were pretty good as well. Misty comforting Ash as he broke down tugged at my heartstrings, the therapy where he finally understands being the chosen one was really insightful and Team Rocket’s final goodbye to Ash made me laugh. It also felt really warm and fuzzy when he thanked them for being such a big part of his life. More than anything else, your writing, especially in these flashbacks throughout the story are some of the best that I’ve ever seen.

But what made this story stand tall above everything else and what I love the most, you brought everything full-circle. Ash started in Pallet Town and now, nine years later, he’s back as the person he said he’d be. I love how it feels like the finale to Samurai Jack: inconclusive in some ways, but immensely satisfying in others. The reference to I Choose You was, I would say, the most emotional part of the chapter. And the way Ash remembers all his Pokémon, and above all, his friends…it just made me cry all over my keyboard. Seriously, if one day The Pokémon Company starts asking for movie ideas or a reboot idea like Star Trek, I would advise you to submit this story.

I really cannot thank you enough for writing this story over the past few months of my life. They have made me laugh, cry, and generally made me feel again. So many emotions can be felt in your words that I can’t even describe them, so many times in the story that are so memorable, the list just goes on and on and on. I feel that this must be recommended to everyone else who is a fan of the franchise, and I know that there are many people who will agree with me
