Ugh. I'm in actual pain with these injuries and Bucky walking on a broken ankle who knows how far? Mika handles disaster far better than I would, but also def relate to vomiting over it. People are going to be mighty suspicious when Bucky isn't very hurt for very long, and hopefully they mind their own business. But the VULNERABILITY and TRUST this could build for Mika and Bucky? I await with bated breath.

Ok ok ok, I'm back! This was such a sweet chapter with so many good Mucky feels! Ah! I love that she's introduced him to Farmer's Markets and now all I can think about is in CATWS he's buying those plums because of what Mika taught him, and I cry! And he's calling her Little Bird and my heart is swelling and I'm enjoying these wonderful moments bc there are so many chapters and I am so scared. I just want him to be able to recover and for Mika and him to realize they're in love already and we'll all just have a good time!

Expository haircuts are good for the soul and I’m happy Mika’s better now, and with a cure for others, perhaps. I think you’ve set the stage excellently for when the show premiers, and I will await (very) patiently for whenever it finally airs, given all this pandemic stuff throwing everything into chaos. This story was a long haul for me and I feel bad for taking so long to read it (I honestly haven’t been reading much at all and this is the first fic I’ve “finished” in a long time, so I guess that’s a minor accomplishment lol), but I thought it was well paced and the character development/relationships were well executed, and personally I loved all the extra side characters you added, the secondary OCs that really helped flesh out Mika’s life. I still suspect the story her dead sister might come into play in the future, maybe for when you write the F&WS show? Idk it has such intrigue and lore that you’ve built up for Raisa that I’m just intensely curious about her in particular. But whatever you plan to do, I’m sure it will be great!

I also hope you and your family stay safe and healthy at this time! Your fic helped me out when I was really itching for something to do, and it’s inspired me as well :)

Oh this is very interesting! Lmao Bucky and Mika can’t have any peace and quiet at all, it just has to be ruined by something eventually lol. I’m sad they lost the baby (or it got blipped and never came back? Anyways) but at least they can try again if so inclined. I see now that you have plans for the Winter Soldier and Falcon show and honestly I’m so excited. That’s really the only Disney plus show I’m actually interested in watching and whatever plot it’s going to have I can’t wait to see how you’ll weave Mika & Co into it (:

Ahhh the Endgame! I forgot that Bucky literally does not fucking show up until the very end and now it makes sense why there’s so much focus of them in the Soul Stone, since they’re not participating in the Time Heist. Despite the battle I found this very cathartic and I loved seeing your inclusion of all these characters, it was actually fun aside from the fear of more death lol. I’m so close to the finish line I’m shaking, I have no idea what’s in store for these final chapters I’ve got

I also found the 1940’s flashback earlier to be appropriately haunting, and it was easily my favorite part of this whole soul stone sequence. It just had this... sad, nostalgic feeling? Like, I MISS the Bucky of yore, the Bucky from his timeline and that’s not even the Bucky that’s really in this fic, that’s how powerful I thought that scene was. I’d give this fic like a dozen kudos if that was a thing on this site

So, aside from all the angst and pain (which I’m still screaming about) I really enjoy the way you depicted the soul stone/afterlife for the people that got dusted. The setting itself is very eerie, with the constantly red sky and weird storms, and I also found it to be realistic how you had everyone reacting to it, from the main characters to the random civilians too afraid to leave their houses. Idk, that part just kind of struck me, because I think I’d do the same thing too, if I was stuck in their position

I had to go back and read the last chapter because I didn’t understand at first, I was like “wait, did Bucky and Peter BOTH survive?” And I was hella confused and it turns out i just have terrible reading comprehension at 2am. ANYWAYS I’m loving the endless emotional gut punches! This is fine! I’m not incredibly concerned for Mika at all! This is fine!

(I’m also looking forward to Bucky and Peter interaction lmao, Mika’s having a deep soul-searching journey in the afterlife and Bucky got stuck with babysitting duty lol)

I was like “nooo she wouldn’t kill Mika and the baby, that’s too cruel” and you got me looking like Boo Boo the Fool, that’s some Game of Thrones level attack for the jugular. So I guess this is Crying for Bucky Hours? Yeah, I’d say it is. I gotta just collect all these broken feelings scattered on the floor, uno momento...

Holy FUCK this chapter is full of tension! First we got the incoming invasion and then Bucky and Mika’s fight regarding staying together in the battle (got me chopping onions over here...) and now she’s PREGNANT? Now I’m REALLY sure Mika is going to survive because what’s more angstier than having to raise a child on her own for five years? Or Bucky coming back and meeting his kid for the first time, and theyre already in Kindergarten? THE THEORETICAL ANGST IS ALREADY KILLING ME

(Or Mika gets dusted while pregnant and making me UBER SAD. Anyways I’m looking forward to whatever terrible tear jerking emotions you have planned for me next)

Another wedding! I had a feeling the first wedding from way back was kind of like, positive foreshadowing for where Bucky and Mika would eventually head to and I must say I’m a little pleased to be right (idk if that’s what you intended or not but it feels like the first wedding was foreshadowing lol). And an excellent way to cement the relationship right before the world ends and all the tears come where one or both of these precious idiots gets snapped (My theory right now is that Mika lives, since Bucky doesn’t make it, for maximum angst).

I appreciate the time skip! I think it was a good move and an easy way to let Bucky and Mika have their time together, get all that good peace and domesticity before some bullshit comes in to mess it up (lookin at you Thanos). Also VERY HAPPY to see this disaster couple finally get engaged, took them long enough lol. But it feels right, I think you got the timing perfect :)

Aww a nice return to that domestic bliss! I’m glad to have Bucky back, he might not have been gone for very long but I missed him a lot lmao. I also wanted to add that the way you write Shuri is just on point, it sounds exactly like her from the movies xD And as much as I enjoy this domestic bliss I know it can’t last forever because freakin infinity war is coming and I have no idea how you intend to write that and I am VERY anxious

I really enjoy the bonding Mika has with the characters in Wakanda, Shuri and T’Challa especially but also with the Dora Milaje. She can be even more badass by the time Bucky comes out of the ice lol. And I keep forgetting Black Panther happens after CACW and I’m looking forward to how Mika plays a role in it. Also, I found her little morning greetings to Bucky while hes on ice to be very touching ;-;
