I loved Sherlock's conversation with John!

Such a good chapter! Really liked the flashback of 3 years previous.

Good turn of events and lovely clues.

I like the way you've chosen to not tell us much yet about who Basil's mother is or how Sherlock and Basil's mother got together. Just hints that keep the reader intrigued. Good story so far!

Sorry for taking so long in reviewing again. Didn't forget your story, but... bit stressed for time since I'm still writing my own. I'm not very familiar with the books so the name dropping of Moran and Mortlake was a bit lost on me. I struggled a bit with those bits.

I really like the portrayal of Lorna. And, hopeless romantic that I am, I'm kinda hoping they will at least grow closer because of Basil. Really loved that last line. Hopeful and bitttersweet.

This is clever and oh so intriguing. I particularly enjoyed Sherlock's emotional outburst in the flashback scene.

Yay, nice deduction, Sherlock! I'm glad he's not going to deposit the children at the grandparents' just yet.

I love that there is a familial relationship between Rosie and Basil, the next gen of crime detection!

It's a bit sad that Sherlock's feeling the effects of age - don't we all :(
Lorna sounds pretty cool. I'm looking forward to seeing how their relationship develops/developed.

Wonderful seeing Basil's personality unfold - cool name for a teenager, by the way! It's fantastic the way you're revealing their backstory in pieces, and only as required.

But WHO is his mother!? You're doing a great job with the suspense!

But now you left us on a little cliffie. Because Sherlock said 'Oh' and now I want to know what that 'Oh' means. So get cracking!
