Like this so much! Yes, there's a little tragedy but it's a lighter start as compared to some of your other stories, which, though good, are a little hard to enjoy, because of all the bad stuff that happens. So, liking this beginning a lot :)

Something telling me due to the way things are for the family and Shane, this is going to be fun. But I wonder why you let Kup be Ironhide Grand-sire, I mean I can see the reason why Cliffjumper would be Ironhide and Chromia son but I'm hoping for an explanation. And also to give you some helpful tips to create a fanfic of Drift, try and find some inspiration on fanfiction and wattpad, because there are a few good stories that feature the samurai autobot like code of honor (by PrincessAura273) and it sequel, code of love (also by the same author) and monsters (by Kit_Girl_5). The second tip is to just create an au, consider what you say about Hot Rod playing a different role in your story: Journey of the Exiled... maybe you can do another one for a different person for a 3rd time (only reason I'm saying the 3rd time is because Bumblebee was 1st and Hot Rod was 2nd) also Cogman would be fine too. Hope that help you out.

LOL! This chapter was so cute and funny! I especially liked it when Chromia said Cliffjumper lived on junk food until he was in his third frame! LOL! Also, I just knew it was gonna be macaroni and cheese. Every kid asks for macaroni and cheese XD

Aw man it on hiatus, darn... I was hoping to see some more chapters featuring Hot Rod and Jace. But this will do while waiting since I love a Whole New World, I wanted to see a Drift fanfic since there aren't a lot of then, but then again... beggars can't be choosers. I can't wait to see how Ironhide and Chromia handle Shane as their adopted child.

I like that Shane is an outgoing boy that just says whatever is on his mind (like Ironhide and Chromia), and this first chapter was just adorable! Can't wait to see where this goes :)
