An interesting one-shot, which could be the begining of a longer story.
With everything that happened during her life, Medea is one of those character who deserve a second chance, and if in this new world there are heroes and/or so-called good guys who abuses their powers, maybe they don't deserve those.
Is Rule Breaker to OP? As I know nothing of the Worm universe, I can't tell. If their power are natural, like in My Hero Aademia (save for a few exceptions) or in The X-Men, the answer would be yes (unless the loss isn't permanent). Otherwise it isn't.
As for the Servant that was summoned in the end, I would believe it was Saber of Red, as Medea and Mordred lived both side of betrayal.

Maybe have Taylor summon Emiya first and later have her summon Bayber..
I mean Saber...

Was rereading this and it made me wonder.

Setting aside the reincarnation aspect for a moment.

Would this Taylor/Medea be the classic Caster or would she be an Avenger, who's also a Caster.

Rather like Semiramis being Assassin of Red, but also having a Caster aspect in Fate:Apocryphal

As the class description on the FGO wiki would seem to fit this combination/merger of the two ladies like a tailored glove. (No pun intended.)

Vandenbz made a valid point about Kirigutsu being another valid option and oddly enough he does show up in FGO as Assassin/EMIYA.

Though I'd still prefer the Archer version of Shirou for the sheer number of possibilities he brings to the table, from drama to romance to humour to action.

And let's face it, Earth Bet is long overdue for a visit by a Counter Guardian, as the current situation will lead to humanity's extinction.

sandmanwake makes an interesting point. Even more so, if she can gift the Shard to a Servant. A Berserker with Lung's shard would be very scary, especially if they were already invulnerable like Achilles.

The scales would help with that one vulnerable spot. Plus, of course further boosting the stats. Course Prana expenditure would probably be obscene on that combination.

Or try picturing Tesla with Armsmaster's Shard and the sheer insanity THAT would lead to.

Or Drake with Squealer's, flying Montana's or Iowa's for everyone. ;-p

Still, in the end it's your call.

Really hope you come back to this because it sounds like it would be a really fun read as a full story (not to say that it isn't a fun read as a one-shot)

Taylor Hebert is basically Medea reborn. Not a Servant, but a living being with the full power of Medea of Colchis, in a world that does not oppose and degrade magic.

And I find myself wishing this is Archer, no, EMIYA. I think that the girl who in canon wanted to be a hero as badly as Shirou ends up more cynical than and summoning Archer to be hilarious.

Gae Bolg vs Endbringer?

One Servant that might be interesting to use, either here or in another fic, is Mordred as Saber Lily. Incase you don't know, Lily and Alter servants are versions of a Heroic Spirit who lived alternate versions of their life/myth (Lily's having happier and lighter versions, Alter's having Darker and Harsher ones). So Mordred Lily would have been accepted by Arturia as her child, been raised to inherit the throne, etc.
