It seems rude to ask...but do you plan on finishing this story? since we sense there must be only couple of chapters before the end...or am I wrong? I know you post a rewrite one on ao3, though I do understand why writers want to make stories better, as a reader it's hard to not be anxious about the follow-up. lol.
I always love how you portrait Q&R together. Of course sex scenes are delicious, it's small things...like little body languages-touch wrist, caress faces, rub backs, Quinn holding Rachel-all soft and tender make me really like your version of them. It's comforting and beautiful. Umm...I'm not describing this very well haha.
Anyway, thank you for sharing, hope you not abandoning this story.

Hot update! They're so perfect together. Whatever is coming for Q must have been seriously horrific to make her leave that kind of a connection behind. Scared.

New to reading this, and I know there's a newer chapter, but I am conflicted here. I absolutely agree with Quinn about not being the other woman, but she was also the one who said she'd put in the work and wait as long as it would take for Rachel to trust her again. Well, she didn't do that at all. She pressured Rachel at every opportunity. Yes, Rachel could have asked for distance etc, but Quinn also handled herself poorly. And I have no clue how Quinn was proving her love and trustworthiness. She hasn't done anything. She didn't try to woo Rachel or anything. Hell, she wasn't even the one to seek Rachel out, they met again by chance. There is no indication anywhere that Quinn ever intended to try fight for Rachel again, Rachel pretty much just fell in her lap. And I still find her reasons for leaving Rachel crappy. Or not so much her reasons, but her inability to take full accountability for them and admit that they were motivated more out of selfishness than for Rachel. Making decisions for someone else is not being thoughtful and selfless. Taking away someone's right to choose what they want for their own life is not thinking of then, it comes from a place of deep cowardice and selfishness. Now, is that wrong considering what Quinn was going through? No. I would just like her to her honest about it.
Anyway, I really like this story, but I feel like a lot is still unresolved, and I do feel like Quinn could have been more patient about Jesse, she could have stopped any physical things and given Rachel some space without giving her an ultimatum. She really gave Rachel very little time to sort things out, especially considering her and Jesse were together for years. Just seems like everything must be on Quinn's terms and in her time.
