Fun story. I'm really liking it. Especially Hiccup's reactions to all the modern stuff. I wonder how he'd react if he found out that maps like the one he copied are practically given away in tourist shops?

I just have one slight objection. Hiccup isn't short anymore. He's 6'1".

When I first read the summary of the story, I thought it was going to be a silly comedy, but this has to be one of the better fanfics (top 20 maybe top 15) I've read and definitely one of the best with HTTYD characters in it, hope the next chapter is coming out soon.

When I saw the 'rrrrrip' I thought that you were going to include some book dragons - namely, riproarers. This is usually when I go into a rant about how Movie!Hiccup is Hiccup Horrendous Haddock the First from the books, but I wanna keep reading, so... Yeah.

This is one of the best fics in the section I've ever heard. I do appreciate how you integrate the lore of these two universes together without making it feel forced. I enjoy the pace too, which goes to lighthearted and just a "minor mishap" to something more heavy and with the threat of time and (possibly) space collapsing or becoming very, very unstable. Not to mention that if Hiccup doesn't go back to his time, Berk has that kind of future.

Nice way of giving Hiccup his own share of magic. He's not a wizard, but thanks to the dragons he has Dragontongue. I wonder if this exposure to dragons and their blood could further strengthen this magic and give him more skills? Who knows! Though I can easily see him riding a dragon and being able to throw a few elemental spells here and there (wandless, though. Because I don't see him with a wand at all. Maybe a magic sword? Or amulets?). Who said that a muggle can't become a wizard/witch AFTER their 11th birthday?

Sun-eater is an interesting dragon. More magical than any other we've seen from both series. And quite intelligent too, but still with that dragon-temperament that makes him, well, a dragon.

Hopefully by the end of this, dragons and humans have an easier time getting along world-wide and not just within Berk.
