So very true, poor Spike. Then again, poor Buffy, she really hit the jackpot in taboo relationships. First Angel, and now Spike. I'd add Riley as well, but I don't really consider their relationship *a* relationship.

I liked this. Of course, I've always had a soft spot for song fics, having done quite a few of them myself. The lyrics, Buffy's thought and the flashbacks blended really well. Great job.

i don't actually like the spuffy pairing, but this fic was ... okay. i guess my one word we be 'indifferent.' but it was sweetly written and id id quite enjoy it.
