Before "A Chance Answer" even came out, I read the original version of this fic. When the aforementioned fic released, I was pleasantly surprised and read that too. Both remain as two of my most favorite BNHA reads to the point where I often go back to them to this day. That's actually how I recently found out about the extra chapters.

One of my favorite aspects about it is the shared universe and what-if scenario (I'm a big sucker for those). Judging from the reviews, I'm surprised most people don't know Momo's part in all of this has already been answered (albeit in another whammy what-if what-if scenario). It invests and intrigues me even more because I know the alternative, and how painful it is that she was just shy of such a different reality.

I love that you continued this, though I do have to concur with other people that it should have been a different story altogether. I can give it the benefit of the doubt because they're a few years older, but it's much too different to warrant being in the same story.

Having read both fics, I'm also getting a lot of enjoyment trying to piece together the story line. The whole Duke and Yoro is easy to piece together into Tsuyu's story, and it clearly ends before the last karaoke date. I just can't piece together how Momo and Deku got to that point if Tsuyu's event overwrites her's.

TLDR; I love your BNHA stories and hope you keep doing more. Two stories is too few. Keep on writing!

The first half was fine, the second half seems like something completely unrelated that accidentally got stapled to the back of it.
It's a quality drop. Both in plot, and the actual words. The first half is well written and paced well, the second half feels rushed and clumsy. That, and its narrative is just plain foolish, particularly when you consider it a sequel to the first half, which it seems you do.

Not sure why you didn't make these stories separate entities, but plus ultra, I guess. I'm fine sticking with the first eleven chapters, thanks.

I really liked the first half. But I'm not a fan of polygamy. Kinda killed it for me.

I have become quite curious what direction you might be headed with this. I very much enjoyed the first portion of this story for what it was, and the twists to the characters' lives that you've added with these Extra Chapters are incredibly intriguing. Particularly when it comes to Yaoyorozu, whose past with Deku in that missing portion of high school has become such a huge mystery.

I feel as though there will indeed be a singular defining incident that caused Momo to become as she is, and so starkly change her from who she once was. That Deku has elected to keep absolute confidence in the matter from Ochaco and Tsuyu, yet Momo is frustrated that he has done so (at least with his first wife, Tsuyu), leads me to think that his statement that the secret "would hurt Yaoyorozu" is a convenient excuse. And Momo all but confirms this when she says what happened is probably the most potentially damaging event to Izuku and Tsuyu's relationship as a couple (later spouses). From those clues alone, I believe sex must have been involved.

THEORY: Momo and Izuku bonded over their mutual interests. Eventually, during some event like a convention, their excitement ran hot and one or the other accidentally initiated something more intimate in the heat of the moment. Something like a kiss...yet a kiss with big ramifications. As foreshadowed when Izuku and Tsuyu first began dating, Izuku is the sort of person who has a hard time restraining himself from going further during these small intimate moments, and it was purely by virtue of Tsuyu being the same that they'd decided to place hard limiters on their intimate actions until later in their relationship.

When joined in an intimate action with Momo (again, likely a kiss in the heat of the moment), Deku unfortunately found no barriers to prevent him from losing himself to desire. Momo's own guilt over the event may even be due to her having been an active pusher for more in that same heated moment. Regardless, it ended with the two having sex. This is why it is possibly the most damaging event for Izuku's and Tsuyu's relationship. It becomes very likely that not only did Izuku cheat on the frog girl (unintentionally or otherwise), Momo is responsible for retroactively taking something precious away from Tsuyu that the girl has thought she'd had for years: Izuku's first time.

I'd love to know if I'm close, and I do hope you have plans to finish this portion of the story. I'm interested in seeing how things work out between the married trio, and the woman who claims to have no interest in being a third wife. Keep up the good work. I hope you update ~

Yes. This (Chapter 17) is outstanding.
I have read more fanfiction than anyone really should - because I love to hold onto beloved characters and fantasize about them. I also enjoy the absence of ethical rules and social norms within a lot of those works.

Not a single one of those stories was able to depict what yours did in chapter 17.
The philosophical thoughts and believes represented in this have been ingrained in my worldview for a while now. Why is a romantic relationship between 2 people the only socially accepted choice? Why is it frowned upon to live your life in a different way - without a romantic relationship for example? On your own or in a permanent platonic relationship without any romantic connotations? Or in a romantic relationship between more than just two people? Why is it so unthinkable for someone to be happy without those set social values? Why cant I set emotional values on my own ?
( Maybe Sex holds an imense emotional value to me. Maybe it doesnt - maybe I wanna differentiate between desire and „love“. Maybe I am okay with my partner desiring other people in that way - maybe I am not.)

How long will it take to escape those patronizing norms?
Reality is a concept perceived through the mind - subjectively conceived.
People think differently and that is okay - having a different perception isnt a disorder or illness.
People love to set rules for themselves to move within, but without an objective goal to life itself there shouldnt be any reason to disconcider a life outside of those rules. A lot of people are miserable because they find themselves caged within a socially accepted life.

To me, this chapter holds an imense philosophical value. You can be proud. If there was a specific source that inspired this I would very much like to know about it.

Honestly, not a fan of the texting. Not that it's particularly bad; but compared to other chapters, it's not great.

Come on man, this can’t be it! What happened between him and Momo? Will they pull off defeating 3 criminal organizations? Did Momo confess to Izuku as well? So many questions that need answers!

I feel like it's almost cruel to not have a final chapter dealing with the fallout of what she said from Deku's POV.

I just binged through this story and I must say I am a fan! I definitely was not expecting this to go the way that it went, but I love the direction it took and how well thought out it was. There are two major things I wanted to make note of:

1. The contrast of Ochako and Tsuyu's feelings for Deku was very interesting. I kinda wish it was highlighted a bit more earlier on in the story. You handle it very well and things feel very emotional and a bit sad, but still satisfying for both of them. it's an interesting take that you dont see too often and I think its great.

2. Just from a pure writing composition and storytelling point of view, I absolutely loved everything about Chapter 5: Mirage. It really stood out to me. There was no actual dialogue, but Tsuyu's thoughts flowed in such a conversational way that still held deep insight that major monologues do. The progression of her realizing and revealing her feelings to herself (and the audience) was expertly done. Just the way that chapter was organized and flowed was really spectacular to me. Kudos!

I'm not sure if this is the end or if you will continue forward a bit more, but either way this story was a surprising delight!

Read the first chapters a while ago, saw this updated again and got curious. Really loving the extras, NBC and I do hope to see a few more... especially the fallout from this chapter and some more on Duke and Yoro. Best wishes.
