Avescor chapter 6 . 1/22/2019 Their relationships with one another flows easily, if it is a threesome, even though I'm not a fan of those, I'd still follow. Maybe I'm confused? It feels like it'd be a concept of "love that is different, not necessarily romantic but all encompassing like the sky" but it comes across like romantic. Hayato is a bit too much like me, I think, at least in terms of his concept, so it rattles me a bit because I am certainly very jagged edges as well, but I very much enjoyed his "little things" portion. It felt very comforting. When Mukuro and Chrome sat with them, that feeling was there as well. He blew up that entire square. I gasped because I couldn't believe he went there, but of course, why wouldn't he? |
Avescor chapter 5 . 1/22/2019 The beginning and ending scenes were a good choice. They showed the change well. Hayato slowly blooms and the way he describes his growing dissatisfaction with life was so real to me. I think it's something anyone can identify with. The mirroring, where both he and Natsuki recognize there's a choice and then choose not to, it was good. This chapter was more restrained in a way. It's an interesting choice. So are the three of them now... ? I was wondering because of the love in different shapes and forms. Are those two slowly going to gather a harem as they go through their journey? |
Avescor chapter 4 . 1/22/2019 Gokudera sounds so romantic, but that's fitting even when you consider his canon counterpart. You went from that slightly urban feel to this wide and open feeling of freedom and it was nice to see them so happy and in full color, if that makes sense. It captures how trapped and dull and grey they felt earlier by contrast alone. This was the most aesthetic chapter so far and it was well done. The photo descriptions were just right. I think the only thing keeping me from enjoying this chapter was me thinking, what happens when you run out of money? |
Avescor chapter 3 . 1/22/2019 The build up to them leaving is so smooth. The scenes at school, where they eat their crepe, and the intro where you juxtapose the hot day and the cold drink out in the park, it's evocative. You know it is when your reader remembers their own past moments. I liked the bit on the laundromat, BTW. The way you defined what parents where and then went from there, showing Natauki's (I'm guessing, it could go for him and Tsuna) side, that was fantastic. And the comparison and contrast of both their parents and situations (backgrounds) was such a good theme. I think this is my favorite chapter so far. |
Avescor chapter 2 . 1/22/2019 I think naming him is a good choice. Just as how Tsuna gets to know him as a person, asmore than The Sun, so do we, the reader. It shows a deepening of the relationship between them and between us as the reader. I had to pause to sigh at how good this was before reading the texting portion because of what a great choice that was to include. It showed a different side, a more personal side, and fit the feeling of this story so well. Adds a little something to it, even if I can't describe very well how. The description of the hazy sky and all the colors pouring out was so anesthetic. And the feeling of Natsuki sitting there waiting for Tsuna and of what it's like for him, dealing with all those judgemental and invasive looks, it struck very true to me. I'm similar to him that respect. Your words are so evocative and create such a bold and emotional feeling without being too hard or harsh, I don't know how to describe it, but it's beautiful. Thank you for continuing this. |
Avescor chapter 1 . 1/22/2019 I made it most of the way through before I thought to myself, I have to review this. I absolutely have to review this. This is so good I'm mad you haven't gotten more reviews. I really love that line about how The Sun is a walking history book. Your poetry is excellent and I enjoy it very much. I really want to read the rest of your stories now. |
