My gosh, I loved this so much. Not gonna lis, this actually broke my heart and brought me to tears. Poor Edward! I seriously want to beat Hohenheim within a inch of his life, how could he treat his own child like that? It’s co cruel. I loved it when Ed asked Mustang if he would look at him, that was adorable. I love Parental!Roy, I always have and I always will.

You made me cry and that just goes to show how good this was. Needless to say, you did a great job on this story.

Parental Roy just kills me!

So, I read both of the stories you've written, and I gotta say. Out of the 2, I love this one a whole lot more. Probably because it seems more realistic to me, and I just love the concept of "look at me!" ya know? That is such an interesting way to put it! And I have no doubt that if that were to be put in the actual anime, Roy Mustang would come to the same conclusions. :D Loved this one-shot.

I was expecting a completely ooc Hohenheim but he was more subtle than expected (I can see a "sympathetic" version from his POV where Ed reminds him too much of himself, his failures, or whatever and purposely leaving him to Mustang. It be wonderful angst). The ending was just icing too

AWESOME FANFIC!

I'm not entirely sure if I've ever cried reading a fanfic before this one. This was so heart-breaking (in a good way). I thought you captured Ed's character perfectly, like his internal struggle with his feelings for Hohenheim. Then of course you bring in the beauty that is Parental!Roy...him referring to Ed as "his precious child" nearly drove me to tears again because it was so cute and so freakin perfect. You did an amazing job on this story!
