as much as I wish Sabo had come through, I totally get what you mean with Marco.

first, there is more impact to bring Marco into the other world. not only will there be another Marco, there is also thatch. something emotional and I feel like Marco also needs that small chance just to say good bye. second, as much as we all love the asl trio, Marco was the one who knew the older Ace. the Ace who died. sabo, unfortunately, does not (and very unfortunately never will in canonso yes, Ace and Sabo have much to catch up on but the last they saw each other was as children and I believe that Marco really deserves to see Ace more at that moment. third, I'm sure Sabo too will be nervous to see Ace, just as he was to see Luffy in canon. maybe even be scared. having a reunion in a different world may not be the best place.

god, i love this story. I have a thing for isekai and reincarnation stories so this one was perfect for me. I had a lot of fun with reading it (and also fuck yeah, blackbeard dying is a great plus!).

also, I would love to see a small short story of normal world Ace and Luffy being stranded in the one piece world. I can imagine Ace's absolute panic and Luffy just going with the flow because he is just enthralled with being there.

Wow. The characters just grabbed my heart and it broke when Ace found his way home. That barrier and the reunion hurt me so much, in different ways. I do agree that Marco was a good choice. Thanks for the story.
