i have read this multiple times only to realize i've never even dropped a review and so i apologize. this has truly become one of my favorite stories. i read it when i miss swanqueen and want the perfect blend of angst and romance rolled into one.

the moments between them are just so heart wrenchingbe it their slow dancing, the claim to trying to love quietly enough, sadness from feeling like you don't fit, to ultimately deciding love is worth fighting for if to be able to at least shout it to the world.

I love this one shot so damn much. It's so gentle and unassuming but sweeps you off your feet. The way they steal moments together and the amount of love we can see in that small span of time is incredible. Henry is absolute gem of a kid, I especially like the part where he thinks there needs to be more than Emma in Regina's corner. Another moment I really love is when Regina says if she could love Emma quietly, she'd get to keep her. It speaks volumes of what she thinks she deserves and it's heartbreaking. But what finally gives her strength to overcome her fears is having Emma think she loves her less, that is beautiful. This is a work of art, I'm very glad you shared it with us.

Such a great piece! I do think it could have worked like this in the show. more or less. Regina fear makes a lot of sense. especially the way you put it in words. really good. well done dear!

Cute story but it really does not need a mature rating more like teen.
