guardian of grayskull chapter 1 . 5/22/2018 I personally enjoyed this story and i sometimes do wonder if Kal-El's ship did land somewhere else? Well, taht's all i wanted to say. |
atymer chapter 1 . 1/30/2018 This would certainly be interesting to pursue. The abilities that would come to light could dip the scales of war, of course, or find our hero ostracized and shunned, definitely feared by family and foe. I am quite fascinated with the idea. On the odd chance you may continue this I will probably follow you dear author to get an alert. |
Hold777 chapter 1 . 1/27/2018 please continue it, I like the idea a lot. |
kakakure chapter 1 . 8/22/2017 i would like for this story to continue. it is an interesting concept. kal-el's power's would make so that that stark's hold the power in the land and he could protect them from almost anything. given that there is plenty of magic in GoT, he should have plenty of weakening moments. also, for his weapon, he seems more like a hammer sort of guy. i recommend kal-el having the ultimate thor's version of mjolinir (it's a hammer and axe combo) with a a spike of metal on the top. also, to get more readers, i recommend making a few copies of this story and posting it in the superman comics, superman comics crossover section, and game of thrones crossover section. that way, you could get more comic fans to read the story. hope you update really soon! |
S. J. Clark chapter 1 . 8/21/2017 I really like this idea! The concept of Kal-El as a ward of the Stark's and a friend to the North could provide incredible plot twists to the narrative of Game of Thrones. I think that it is a good story to continue with and develop. Just a spelling correction, if you do decide to continue, Jon doesn't have an "h" in it. Also, would all of Superman's powers manifest? Or just his strength? If you haven't seen the TV show Smallville, I would suggest watching it for ideas on how to handle the development of Kal-El's powers. Can't wait until the next chapter! |
m chapter 1 . 8/15/2017 cool |
GenoBeast chapter 1 . 8/15/2017 Would have preferred Kal-El be found by Northern smallfolk. I get the purpose behind attaching him to the Starks since their fan favorites and usually x-overs come with the idea of making groups like Starks or Dany more powerful. The problem I find is it makes the story more complicated since a number of plot lines now can't exist yet most want to stick to them due to the fact making truly original scenes/plots can honestly be difficult. Having Kal raised by Kent substitutes would have solved the inevitable problem of why he does not fly off to deal with any serious conflict the Starks. A small step from that would be that if he feels its reasonable to interfere with human politics then is it not reasonable he would eventually establish himself as the ultimate authority? Its abit too cliche to have Kal making daggers for the Stark girls and teaching them how to use it. Lets be honest if he integrated himself into the culture a very noticeable thing would be Lady and Lord activities are very much separate with Lords/Ladies of the House having ultimate authority on how their children are raised. The idea comes across as an attempt to make Kal cooler without any real substance there. While I feel like the story is decent it does not feel like it would go anywhere. Either you end up writing yourself into a corner or using author fiat too much to try forcing it back on course. |
